Our workshop
We design and assemble all Båge & Söner Table Alarm Clocks in our workshop in Stockholm. Inspired by ‘fine watchmaking’, we strive to make the world’s finest alarm clock, leaving nothing to chance, from the smallest screw to the leather that encloses the clock.
Every alarm clock that leaves our studio in Stockholm has been manufactured and assembled by hand with a lot of love and a great deal of craftsmanship.
The Craft
A Båge & Söner alarm clock is an ideal blend of traditional craftsmanship and new technology. Our alarm clocks are assembled in Sweden with the same precise methods and techniques that watchmakers have been using for many years.
We manufacture parts for the alarm clock using modern tools and machines, from digital CAD models to 3D printing and CNC machining of the detailed parts; all with a precision of one thousandth of a millimetre.
A Båge & Söner alarm clock is made to last. If your clock ever needs repair, our workshop will restore it using traditional fine watchmaking techniques—ensuring both quality craftsmanship and sustainability

Functionality
Snooze
The snooze function is activated by pressing the snooze button on the left-hand side of the clock (same button to activate the light).
Light
In dark conditions, press the snooze and light knob and the recessed light bulb will light up the dial.
The Sound
Our alarm is a 4 step crescendo alarm with a classic beep-beep sound. It starts soft and slowly increases in intensity and volume in 4 steps.

Stainless Steel
Stainless steel, an alloy of chrome and nickel, is one of our most beloved materials. Its key feature is durability, maintaining its beautiful luster and shape over time.
We use one of the purest stainless steel alloys available, and our clocks are crafted with polished and gold-plated finishes of the highest quality.
Gold Plated Stainless Steel
In a Båge & Söner alarm clock, nearly all metal components are crafted from the finest stainless steel. We’ve chosen gold-plated stainless steel for its stunning golden hue, which resembles brass but retains its beauty over time—no polishing required, just lasting elegance.
Leather
For more than 2000 years humans have known how to turn animal hide into leather. Båge & Söner only uses leather with exceptional quality and minimal environmental impact. Leather has a warm feel to the touch and a natural beauty that age well.
Dial And Hands
The dial design of a Båge & Söner alarm clock is a key element of its craftsmanship. Each index and number is carefully applied by hand, while the hands are elegantly designed to clearly frame the hour and minute markings.
The dials feature intricate patterns: the white and blue versions showcase a geometric tapestry in the alarm zone, while the green and rhodium-grey dials feature a sunray pattern, with nearly imperceptible lines converging at the center, mimicking the rays of the sun

Every Båge & Söner alarm clock undergoes a thorough quality control process. We meticulously inspect the finish, leather casing, assembly, mechanical precision, alarm, and all functions to ensure perfection.
To certify that your clock has passed our rigorous standards, the accompanying manual is stamped and dated with the Båge & Söner seal.
