The Craft
A Båge & Söner alarm clock is an ideal blend of traditional craftsmanship and new technology. Our alarm clocks are encased in premium genuine leather, assembled in Sweden with the same precise methods and techniques that distinguished watchmakers have been using for many years.
We manufacture parts for the alarm clock using modern tools and machines, from digital CAD models to the 3D printing and CNC machining of the detailed parts; all with a precision of one thousandth of a millimetre.
A Båge & Söner alarm clock is built to last. If you need to repair your clock we can mend it in our workshop, in keeping with both the traditional methods of fine watchmaking and our commitment to sustainability.

Our workshop
We design and assemble all Båge & Söner Table Alarm Clocks in our workshop in Stockholm. Inspired by ‘fine watchmaking’, we strive to make the world’s finest alarm clock, leaving nothing to chance, from the smallest screw to the leather that encloses the clock.
Every alarm clock that leaves our studio in Stockholm has been manufactured and assembled by hand with a lot of love and a great deal of craftsmanship.
Functionality
Snooze
The snooze function is activated by pressing the snooze button on the left-hand side of the clock (same button to activate the light).
Light
In dark conditions, press the snooze and light knob and the recessed light bulb will light up the dial.
The Sound
Our alarm is a 4 step crescendo alarm with a classic beep-beep sound. It starts soft and slowly increases in intensity and volume in 4 steps.
Materials
A Båge & Söner alarm clock comes in a timeless design made in high quality materials and is built to last. We select each part according to the highest quality standards; we use genuine brass in our dials, finest stainless steel, premium leather, and tempered mineral glass.

Stainless Steel
Stainless steel is an alloy of chrome and nickel and is one of our most used and beloved metals. The main property of stainless steel is that it lasts over time with the same beautiful luster and shape.
We work with one of the purest kinds of stainless steel alloy and our clocks come in fine-brushed, polished and gold-plated steel of the highest quality.
Gold Plated Stainless Steel
In a Båge & Söner alarm clock, almost all the metal parts are made of stainless steel of the highest quality. We have choosen to use gold-plated stainless steel on our clocks that almost look like brass in its beautiful golden color, with a surface that remains the same over time. No polishing and always beautiful!
Leather
For more than 2000 years humans have known how to turn animal hide into leather. Båge & Söner only uses leather with exceptional quality and minimal environmental impact. Leather has a warm feel to the touch and a natural beauty that age well.
Dial And Hands
The aesthetics and look of the dial on a Båge & Söner alarm clock are a crucial part of the manufacturing process. Each of the indices and numbers are applied by hand, while the hands are delicately designed and frame the hour and minute markings in a clear way.
The dial on a Båge & Söner alarm clock is beautifully decorated with different patterns. The white and blue dial have a geometric tapestry pattern in the alarm zone. The green and rhodium-grey dial have a sunray pattern of almost imperceptible lines appears in the alarm zone, which, like the sun’s rays, intersect at the centre.
Quality Control
All Båge & Söner alarm clocks undergo our rigorous internal quality control process. We check the finish, the leather casing, the assembly, the mechanical precision, the alarm and the other functions.
As proof that your clock has undergone our quality control process, the accompanying manual is stamped and dated with our Båge & Söner seal.
