Terms of purchase
Once we have received your order we will send an electronic invoice to your e-mail address as a confirmation of your purchase. This is also valid as your receipt. It is important that you enter the correct e-mail address when placing your order. We recommend that you save the order confirmation if you should need to contact Båge & Söner’s customer service. If the confirmation hasn’t arrived within 15 minutes from purchase, check your junk-mail before contacting our customer service. The order confirmation email (receipt) also serves as guarantee of proof of purchase.
The normal delivery time is 3-5 business days from the day the order was placed. If a product is temporarily out of stock or in production the delivery time can be longer. We make reservations for the liability of delays or failed deliveries caused by discontinued products or the stock handling of our suppliers. We also make reservations for price difference on www.bagesoner.com caused by wrong price codes, etc.
Items not collected and returned to Båge & Söner will be subject to a fee of 50 EUR/USD which will be deducted from the credit made to the card used as payment.
Båge & Söner accepts the economic responsibility if products are damaged or missing during transport. However, you are required to contact our Customer Service within 3 business days if any such damage or fault is discovered upon receiving your order.
If you return a product at your own expense, the economic responsibility is yours if products are damaged or missing during the return transport. Make sure you pack your products carefully to avoid damage during transport.
You may pay with Klarna, credit or debit cards, Paypal or swish. Klarna banking services manages all of our banking transactions. Båge & Söner does not store any credit card numbers. All products remain in Båge & Söner’s property until full payment is made.
PAYMENT BY CARD
Pay with your Visa or MasterCard securely over the Internet. Your payment is handled by Klarna with secure encryption and under strict banking standards. Your card details are sent directly to the bank and cannot be read or accessed by anyone other than your bank. There is no extra charge for card payments unless the customer’s bank charges a fee to the customer. When paying by credit / debit card starting conditions apply as soon as the card transaction is approved. In the event that no payment has been received after submitting your order, Båge & Söner may automatically cancel your order.
PAYMENT WITH KLARNA
If you choose to pay with Klarna -additional terms will apply between you and Klarna. These terms are presented at checkout. The issuer of your card may charge interest or other fees under the terms of your card agreement. Båge & Söner do not store any banking details.
Promo Codes should be entered during the checkout process to be valid. Attempting to add a promo code after purchase will not be honoured.
All prices shown on the Båge & Söner website, www.bagesoner.com, are including VAT for prices in Euro/SEK. Prices in USD/GBP does NOT include VAT and import duties. Please note that in case an order are to be shipped to a delivery address outside the EU (even though you pay in Euro/SEK) the VAT is NOT included and customer may be liable for any import duties and taxes at the local country, which are collected when the shipment reaches your delivery address. You, customer, will be responsible for such payments. It should be noted that Båge & Söner has no control over these charges and, since these charges are different for different countries, Båge & Söner cannot predict their amount. For futher information Båge & Söner advises you to contact your local customs office.
Orders made in another person’s name without the person’s consent, will be reported to the authorities. Båge & Söner holds the right to change prices, correct incorrect prices on all orders as well as final sales. If a price is incorrect, this may compel Båge & Söner to cancel the purchase and refund any amount paid in the best way. This can be performed at any time. Consumers have the right to return the order within 30 days from receiving the order. The right applies only in the case that the product and its original packaging can be returned in the same condition as when received. If consumers use their right to send back an order they should contact Båge & Söner in order to get the address and to send the goods to. Return shipping is paid by Båge & Söner.
Warranty is valid 2 years from the date of purchase. This warranty covers manufacturing defects on the clock itself (movement, case, crystal, dial). Other parts than the above are not covered by this warranty. To have replacement covered under this warranty performed, please contact us through email at email@example.com . In the e-mail you need to specify your name, address, order number, receipt and a detailed description. Finally, write ‘reclaim of purchase’ as subject of the e-mail or letter. Return shipping is paid by Båge & Söner. If Båge & Söner cannot find any defects described above, the product will be sent back to the customer.
Note that repair/replacements will be charged in the following cases, even during the warranty term.
- Failure or damage caused by improper use or carelessness (knocks, dents, shaking, crushing, scratching, broken crystal, staining for the leather etc.)
- Failure or damage caused by unjustifiable repair or modification.
- Failure or damage caused by fire or water, or a natural disaster such as for example an earthquake.
- Esthetical changes that occur during normal aging of the leather and brass, crystal, alteration of the colour on the leather and the natural change of brass colour) are not covered by warranty.
- In case the retail store and the purchase date are not indicated on the warranty, or if this information has been rewritten.
- If the warranty is not submitted along with the clock.
- Battery replacement will be charged even during the warranty term.
- The case, dial, hands, crystal, or other parts thereof may be replaced with substitutes if the originals are not available.
This warranty warrants that you can receive free replacement in accordance with the terms set forth herein and within the specified term, and shall not restrict any lawful right of the Customer.
Båge & Söner has the right to adjust prices, add additional cost change product assortment and related information without notice. The purpose with product images and information texts made available by Båge & Söner is to reflect the products as much as possible. While we try to ensure that all content on this website are accurate, errors may occur. Båge & Söner cannot guarantee that all product images accurately reflect the true appearance of the products, all product images should be seen as illustrations. The product images may differ depending on the color settings on your computer.
You have the right to cancel purchases and return delivered goods by contacting Båge & Söner customer service firstname.lastname@example.org withing 30 days after receiving the goods provided the goods are unpacked and in the same condition as when you received them. However, the customer is responsible for the risk for transporting the returned goods to Båge & Söner. In cases, you as a customer believe that the delivery is delayed in such a way that you no longer wish to fulfill the order, it is your responsibility to cancel the order. In cases where the order has been dispatched, the customer is required to receive the order. Cancellation is not valid until the customer has confirmed with Båge & Söner by email. If a product has been discontinued Båge & Söner has the right to cancel the purchase and refund the paid amount to the customer. Båge & Söner will notify the customer of a replacement or equivalent products if available.
Please note that takes up to 14 days for a returned product to be fully processed and refunded. In the event of a return, we charge a handling cost of 10 Euro/USD.
NON PICKED UP GOODS
Items not collected and returned to Båge & Söner will be subject to a fee of 45 Euro/USD which will be deducted from the credit made to the card used as payment.
It is important that you as a customer carefully check your goods / products when you receive your shipment in order to verify that the products are not damaged and correct. If your product is damaged in transport, whether the damage is visible or hidden, you must report this as soon as possible to the carrier. If you receive your item and see that it is damaged or does not match the one you ordered, you shall also contact us within 30 days from receiving the product. Any complaints shall be made to our customer service through our contact form on the contact page. Please supply the order number and the reason for complaint and we will get back to you shortly. Same applies for returns. Defective products returned to Båge & Söner should be treated as if they were faultless. It is in all types of returns extremely important that the product is packaged in such a way that it cannot be damaged during transit. Båge & Söner has the right to replace defective goods with goods of the same model. If the item has been discontinued, the customer will receive a full refund. In the case that a returned product has no errors or faults, Båge & Söner will send the product back to the customer.
Båge & Söner responsibility for errors in connection to delivery is limited to existing conditions of sale. Båge & Söner bears no direct or indirect responsibility for example, but not limited to, incompatibility, delivery delays, downtime, data loss, additional work or other economic harm.
Båge & Söner shall be exempt from liability for damages and other penalties on the performance of the contract prevented, hindered or delayed by circumstances beyond our control. As the release factor should be considered include government intervention, new / amended legislation, lack of state, war, fire, flood, labor disturbance, prohibitions, restrictions, sabotage, poor transport or weather conditions or lack of delivery from suppliers and the company is exposed to criminal activity that affects activities.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
All intellectual property rights, such as trademarks and copyright, on the website and in the photos/material published on it are owned by Båge & Söner. Any use of the site or its content, including copying or storing such content in whole or part, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use, is prohibited without the permission of Båge & Söner.
The www.bagesoner.com website may include user generated content, for example social media applications. Båge & Söner does not claim any ownership in rights in such content (images, photos and videos etc.) and take no legal responsibility for it. In case you suspect a violation of copyright, or any other right, or otherwise is offended by such content, please contact our customer service.
GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
Contracts between consumers and Båge shall be governed by Swedish Law. Båge & Söner follows the recommendations of the Swedish Consumer Authority. All above conditions apply solely to goods purchased by individual consumers. Please contact Båge & Söner for all B2B inquiries.
